According to McKinsey & Company, women’s sports is the fastest-growing space in the industry - and our Digital Marketing Fellowship puts you at the center of it. An immersive experience designed to develop the next generation of women’s sports marketers, fellows will participate in structured training, hands-on execution, and a capstone project, gaining real-world digital marketing experience. This is the perfect opportunity to contribute to meaningful work across the women’s sports industry.
Throughout this experience, fellows will:
Receive structured training across all core service areas:
Email Management
Paid Social Management
Paid Search Management
Organic Social Management
Consulting
Special Events
Contribute to real client and event-based work
Lead an independent capstone project within a service area of their choosing
Present strategic recommendations to the 24 Sports Marketing team upon completion of their project
The goal: develop emerging marketers to think strategically, execute confidently, and lead in the women’s sports industry while providing hands-on, portfolio-ready experience.
Start Date: Monday, June 8, 2026
End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026*
*Note: End date can be flexible if-needed.
Fellows will be paid $25/hour, with an expectation of 10-15 hours of work per week during your fellowship dates. All work will be remote.
Program Structure

Goal: Build baseline knowledge and introduce workflow.
Introduction to 24 Sports Marketing clients and service model
Training sessions covering:
Organic Social Management
Paid Media (Paid Social + Search)
SEO & Website Optimization
Email Marketing
Marketing Strategy & Consulting
Event-Based Digital Strategy
Introduction to internal tools (Asana, Slack, Google Suite, etc.)
Assigned mentor
Fellows complete short learning assignments and analysis exercises.

Goal: Move from theory to real-time contribution.
Fellows begin supporting day-to-day initiatives such as:
Assisting with social calendars, including drafting organic captions
Pulling basic reporting
Conducting competitor research
Observing strategy discussions on client calls
By the end of Week 3, fellows select their capstone focus area.

Goal: Develop strategic ownership.
Fellows will:
Own one focused project aligned with their major or interest
Continue contributing to live client work and deliverables
Meet weekly with their mentor for feedback
Capstone Project Examples:
Paid campaign strategy for a women’s sports event
Organic social rollout plan for a championship
SEO strategy + content plan for a sports organization
Email nurture strategy tied to membership or registration
Capstone Must Include:

Fellows present their project to the 24 Sports Marketing team in a formal review session.
Presentation includes:
Problem or opportunity identified

Final feedback + growth conversation following presentation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for fellows who:
Are pursuing Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, Journalism, or related fields
Have a passion for women’s sports
Demonstrate strong written and communication skills
Are organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
Have familiarity with social media platforms
Are eager to learn
Preferred but not required:
Canva or basic design skills
Athletic or sports-related background
Experience with analytics or paid ads
Experience with CRM and email platforms
